dates for the incoming season will be posted on the website shortly, we are still waiting final confirmation from the various local authorities etc but we will confirm them as we go along.

the 1st event in october will be a class 8 only training day at benone. To comply with FISLY guidelines this year we will be introducing formal pilot license tests. these will be in two parts, part 1 a "written" test comprising of a number of short question which should take no more than 20mins to complete and part 2 a practical test in which you will be expected to complete safely various tasks in the buggy. Passing this test will entitle particpants to take part in the "club" series. after one season in club class a pilot would be entitled to take part in national races and compete for a place in the irish team for that years international championship

a full sample test and practical details will be published on the website in the coming weeks. there is no limit on the number of times someone can take the test but its unlikely that anyone currently buggying will have any difficulty in passing the test. If you wish to take the test on another day that can be accomodated at any race event ,written and practical do not need to be taken on the same day
